Referral Program
Our affiliate program currently consists of two affiliate
types. The first, our referral program, allows our affiliates
to place standard banners or text links on their website
that direct users to our site. The links contained in
this program pass a CID
to our system that tells us where the user was referred
from. If the user places an order through our site,
then the referring affiliate receives a 3% commission
based on the gross purchase minus shipping costs. This
commission could be rather substantial due to the cost
of the average order placed through ReadySetHome.com.
In this program we provide real time statistics on sales
and commissions through the IFS Affiliate Center. We
also provide our affiliates with the HTML code they
would need to place on their site based on which banners
or linking type they choose. The referral program is
a quick and easy way to turn your existing traffic in
to dollars.
IFS
XML
The second affiliate type is still in the beta
testing phase, however, it should be available soon. Our
XML based affiliate program (IFSXML) provides affiliates
with a way to display our products directly on their site
from their own servers with their own design. This method
requires knowledge of web programming languages (such
as ASP, JSP, Cold Fusion, PHP, etc...) as well as knowledge
of XML based technologies. IFSXML offers seamless integration
of our products and checkout systems into your website.
No merchant account is necesary, just a website/shopping
cart with a secure certificate. The IFSXML affiliate will
be allowed to choose which product categories and manufacturers
they want to sell on their site and these will be returned
in the XML. Once the product is sold on your site, we
take of the rest. All customer service and order processing
will be handled here at IFS by our customer service team
and the items will be shipped directly from our warehouse.
